    Observations 27 June 2005:
    ---------------------------------

Cosatrak 1 (Computerised satellite Tracking System).
MINTRON low light level CCD surveillance camera (0.005 lux typical
in non integration mode) and 0.00005 lux in STARLIGHT mode with 128
    frame integration.

Used with 145mm focal length f/2.5 lens.

    Site 0433 : Longitude 18.51294 deg East, Latitude 33.94058 deg S,
Elevation 10 metres - situated in Pinelands (Cape Town), South Africa

Results of orbital plane scan for XSS-11 objects:

    Comments:
    ---------
    (1) Using the positions obtained on the object observed in my previous
report during a scan of the suspected orbital plane of the XSS-11
launch I find an inclination of about 57 degrees at a height of
about 4700 kms so the object observed is clearly ELEKTRON 1 rather
than any XSS-11 object which has an inclination of about 99 degrees.

    (2) Cosmos 1378 and 78053B were identified as being observed during the
orbital plane search and are reported above.

    (3) In addition a UFO was observed which followed a curved trajectory
over the approximate 2.5 degree field of view so is obviously a
bird or similar type flying creature.

    (4) A bright meteor also crossed the field of view.

    (5) Nothing in a 99 degree inclination orbit was seen.

    (6) Conditions permitting I plan to do further searches.

    Cheers
    Greg
