    Greetings,

The DSS image is taken in the constellation Canes Venatici. North is up and
East is left. The larger galaxy on the left is barred-spiral NGC-5351
(13h55m40s, +40°27'42", mag 10.5). The bright star near the center is mag
6.5 located at 13h53m08s, +40°20'17". The Barred-spiral galaxy to the
    upper-left of the star is NGC-5350 (13h53m39s, +40°20'01", mag 11.3). The
elliptical galaxies between the star and the strobe? are NGC-5354 and 5353.

If my math is correct, the angular separation between the bright wingtip?
and the center trail is 18.4' and the distance between the center and left
trail is 22.8'. The total is then 41.2'.

It might help to get a feel for the angular separation of the tracks if we
