In my latest SPACE.com article concerning observing artificial satellites: http://www.space.com/spacewatch/090619-how-to-find-satellites.html A reader passed along the following comment to my editor: "Nice article but it got one thing wrong. US Space Command went away in 2003 and USSTRATCOM has been doing the space surveillance mission since then. And that mission is not done at Peterson but rather at Vandenberg AFB in California." Can anyone on the list verify if this is indeed true? Thanks in advance! -- joe rao **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. See yours in just 2 easy steps!
