Would something along this lines be of any help Greg (perhaps you've
already found this..)

Subject: Re: Differential Orbit Correction

Hi Charles,

Thanks for your email. I am familiar with the code made available by
Vallado,Kelso and many others but, unless Im missing something, this is for
prediction purposes hich I am familiar with having used Fortran, Matlab and
Pascal. I am not interested in writing prediction software as I have done
this
many times in the past 50 odd years so no stranger to this task. I also
have
the excellant book ORBITAL MECHANICS FOR ENGINEERING STUDENTS by Curtis plus
several of the other standards dealing with celestial mechanics etc but I
have yet to find differential orbit correction presented in a manner that I
can fully understand and apply. I have forgotten most of the maths I learned
at University

My "fun" used to be writing my own software where I could - nowadays there
are plenty of excellant freeware packages that do the task of predicting so
certainly no need to buy such. There are also several freeware programs
that
do something similar to what I was looking for but I was specifically
interested in getting a program listing that I have to run properly so it
was the challenge of the program itself and understanding it rather than
buying a "black box" to do the task.

Cheers
Greg
