I should ad that on the imagery, the payload is brighter, with a much more 
pronounced slow brightness variation than the Centaur (which seems slightly 
variable as well).

This is a bit against my expectation (normally the upper stage is bright and 
flashing), but various lines of evidence (including but not limited to the fact 
that the object I dubbed the Centaur emerges from the fuel dump cloud itself on 
the imagery) imo support the ID of both objects.

Nevertheless: beware, the identifications are not yet 100% certain.
