Hello Tony, I was able to follow the tether through my scope at 80X tonight
and confirmed the bright point of light I saw on the lower end last night
in 10X50 binoculars. The forward kink has gone, but there is a definite point of
light there not much fainter than that at the top end. The overall waviness
of the tether seemed less than previous nights, but I was not able to see it
quite so "side on" as previous nights as it went into shadow whilst still well
to the West of me, not far past the Pleiades.
Cheers, Gordon
