Dear Seesat'ers,
I just saw my first daytime Iridium flare! The sun
was 16 degrees above the horizon. It lasted less than
one second and was much brighter than Venus (the
mirror angle was 0.25). If I hadn't know what it was I
might have thought that an unseen airplane had produced
it. The sky is unusually transparent today.
