The more involved observers will continue to use SeeSat-L.  The
newsgroup will be for new and casual observers not committed enough to
join SeeSat.  The technical stuff will continue to be appropriate here.

I don't have the details at hand, but I'm pretty sure you can get
newsgroups via email if you're interested.
