Just saw the recently launched Spot 4 (#25260) and its rocket
body (#25261). The rocket was first at about 4:34:30 UT on
26 Mar 98. It was easy in binoculars, coming out of shadow
at about 18 degrees elevation. A very rough period is around
40 seconds. This is based on two minima observed with no
guarantee that I did not miss one. Perhaps someone with a
better pass can get a good initial period.

Spot 4 came along 4 minutes later and was steady but faint in
binoculars.
