This morning, while leaving home for the trainstation to go to work,
I saw the sky had cleared partly.
Realizing 99- 12 E was due to make a pass, I rushed inside to catch
my chrono, and was just in time outside again to see 99- 12 E coming
from behind the clouds in the west.
I timed 30 periods in 47.37 seconds starting at 04:00:04 UT
Period is also 1.579 seconds.
In PPAS:
99- 12 E 99-03-31 04:00:04 LB 47.4 0.2 30 1.579 FF, mag 2->5
This is a smaller increase over two days than the previous interval.
99- 12 E 99-03-27 04:19:19 LB 74.0 0.2 50 1.480 FF, mag 2->4
99- 12 E 99-03-29 04:10:27 LB 123.8 0.2 80 1.548 FF, mag 2->5
As 99- 12 E is at the moment at just over 15 revs a day, the time it passes
my obs place is just shifting by 5 minutes per day; and also the groundtrack
is slowly altering.
This will rapidly change as the sat is dragged to a lower height and the
revs/day increases.
Greetings
