Spent the weekend in the Anza-Borrego area. I just printed the Heavens-Above predictions for Borrego Springs & headed out. 3/24 an unexpected pleasure; an unpredicted pass of Lacrosse 2. I guess it changed orbit recently. Anyway, it flared to mag 0 as it culminated. 3/25 saw a good daytime Iridium flare near sunset. Nothing subtle about this one! Good clear sky. After sunset saw more sats from Blair Valley. Cosmos 1953 flared to mag 2 briefly. Ir 12 flared as predicted, then gave a second flare later, 15 degress along track, to the same mag.
