    Dear List,

In just under two weeks, Greece's first satellite will be launched
from Florida. I was wondering if a five-digit NORAD satellite ID is
available? Also, it seems the satellite will be operational about six
days after launch ... can I assume that it will be in its operational
orbit soon after launch or will there be manouvering thereafter lasting
more than the 30 minutes to get it into its proposed slot?

Finally, the projected slot is at 39-deg East ... is any
information available at this time as to the actual location with
respect to existing geosats. For those interested, the solar panels are
supposed to span 32 meters and the satellite is supposed to measure 4.9m
x 1.7m x 2.5m (Mike McCant: info for your special file containing
    measurements).

    Anthony.
