From station 5919 I observed USA 129 and USA 116, and while waiting for the latter accidentally Lacrosse 4 as an UnId (no points taken) and a two oldies (Transit 4A 61-15A 00116 and Alouette 1 62-49A 00424) My cassette memo was positioned near the end of tape - not beginning as I saw it - so I got only a few good points. Luckily, I remembered two of the USA 116 fixes, and the first point was within 1/20 or 1/30 from one of a split. Most of the other splits were also within +- 1/10 of the pairs, and I could definitely identify the pairs. I found no other candidate to match the USA 116 obs, and increasing just B* and ndot2 of the 02365 elset (4.5 minutes early) I get a very good match in both time and position with SGP and SGP4 (in SkyMap) USA 116 predictive 834 x 406 1 23728U 95066A 02365.97122760 0.00003705 00000-0 19629-3 0 06 2 23728 97.9380 121.7995 0306000 36.5761 323.4238 14.82949505 03 Obs (2000) 2003-03-22 UTC #5919: 22:30:25.60 22 31.38 50 17.6 +-1' 22:30:40.75 22 53 48 43 +-15' 22:31:22.19 23 37.76 43 51.3 +-2' 22:31:24.02 23 39.00 43 43.0 +-3' 22:31:45 23 52 41 30 +-60 Flash + lost These and others to follow in IOD format. -- bjorn.gimle@tietotech.se (office) -- -- b_gimle@algonet.se (home) http://www.algonet.se/~b_gimle -- -- COSPAR 5919, MALMA, 59.2576 N, 18.6172 E, 23 m -- -- COSPAR 5918, HAMMARBY, 59.2985 N, 18.1045 E, 44 m -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from SeeSat-L, send a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@satobs.org List archived at http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
