I was just given museum quality models of the Intelsat V and Astra-1B satellites. They are very, very cool...

It's my understanding that only three of of the Intelsat models (wingspan is 36" tip-to tip) were made. One was delivered at Intelsat, another to the person who had the one I now , and the third... well, no one knows.

Unfortunately, some pieces are clearly missing, others broken, not to mention bits that were in a separate bag.

The Astra-1B model is much smaller, 11" tip-to-tip wingspan. It, too, appears to be missing some parts.

In order to figure what's missing and what of the loose bits goes where, I need photographs or drawings of these satellites.

Can anyone in SeeSat-land point me to a source?

    Thanks!
