Very bright, very slow

A week or so ago, I was checking some observatory equipment and
noticed what appeared to be a bright nova - mag 1-2 and no detectable
movement. I took a couple of pictures and, you will have guessed, it
was moving but very slowly for a bright sat - ca 20' per minute if my
    image measurements are correct.

Are there many sats that can be so bright and so high up?

I checked a few TLEs that I could find but nothing matched. The
happy days of 'allsats.tle' seem to have gone so my search was far
from exhaustive. I was, of course, hoping for an undetected small NEO!

If anyone is interested I can supply the images and times.

    Regards
    Bev
