I spent the day attempting to video capture sun crossers using Calsky predictions ( Thank you Calsky folks for your fine work.). I had a clear sky and excellent view of the solar disk with a Hydrogen-alpha solar telescope but could not detect any sats at the appointed times. I'm not sure if the Hydrogen-alpha filtering made a difference as I can detect very fine detail on the Sun. Maybe a regular white light filter would have been better. Not sure. In trying to research the subject on the internet all I could come up with were a few images of the space station and the shuttle in front of the Sun, no other sats. In any case, it was an interesting hunt and I hope to try again in the future. Clear skies and thank you all for the software references.
