That looks rather unlikely. It is a fairly monolithic lump of metal,
and if it is solid, which it seems to be, it must be quite heavy.
What would a globular chunk of metal like that be doing as part of a
plane, let alone dropping off?
I predict that nothing more will be heard of this strange find.
