Hi everyone, I recently filmed a bright flare of COSMO-SkyMed 4 as it passed over. This video shows the satellite coming into frame, brightening, and then getting fainter as it passes over - it's not much, but as far as I can tell, there isn't any video of SkyMed 4 passing over anywhere else, so I thought I'd share it. The flare was bright, at magnitude -2.4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKJM7JqRftU Time: 18:55 UT Date: 23/03/11 Location: 53.3N, 0.7W - Lincolnshire, UK Thanks for watching, George Kristiansen ( http://gkastro.tk/ ). _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-l
