The satellites passed by and just north of Epsilon CMi.
That star was in the field of view during the observation.

The four MMS spacecraft were passing by in roughly one
minute intervals. I did not expect that phasing since
they are relatively close when near their operational
portion of the orbit.

One video noted that they spread apart around perigee.
The reason was not given.

My current question is to try to get an understanding
of why MMS1, if that is the one I saw two minutes early,
was off by that much.

Perhaps another day or so is needed to get better elsets
or the spacecraft are being maneuvered to their final
orbit.
