Run Skymap 510 w/Win 95

I'm having problems getting SKYMAP 510's ANSI (Blue) Screen to work on
Windows 95. It seems that DOS is not DOS in Win95, rather W950U
Bla-Bla-Bla, or something.
I understand the idea of writing DEVICE=C:\DOS\ANSI.SYS to the CONFIG.SYS
but DOS is NOT in a C:\DOS directory. Also, the Blue ANSI Screen will
not show up in any configurations I try to run from a DOS Window. "I'm
Shattered!" I love this program.
I can run STSPLUS, TRAK310, SATSPY, LOGSAT, WINORB27, HOME PLANET and QUICKSAT w/o problems. SKYMAP DOES WORK in this bast*rd DOS Mode but I'm
really getting fed-up with viewing the ANSI Code on all the menu pages.
Does anyone have a "fix" for this problem? I would have preferred to
stay with my DOS 6.2/Windows 3.11 but the damage is done. . . . . . . .
Regarding satellite viewing:
Are there any elements for Delta Star #19911 or RME #20497 (Star
wars-type satellites from what I read)?
Are both Lacrosse 1 & 2 supposed to be a reddish color, if so, are they
"ruby red" or just a reddish hue? They go over Orlando, FL now and then
but I can't see them. I've been using "Ted's elements" and allowing
several minutes of error before & after the viewing time. Any tips?
Thanks,
Laurie
