After reading various reports of the lack of predicted flares from Iridium 5
below is a repeat of a post i made about Iridium 5:

I compared the orbits of Irid 5 and 6 and saw that 5 was behind 6 by 996km
and less than 10km lower in orbit. Perhaps the next time these same
parameters are the same Irid 5 will flare again?
