Gorizont 23 flash period evolution update :
Yesterday evening around 22 h UT I was able to observe
Gorizont 23 = 91- 46 A = 21553 for more than one hour,
resulting in an accurate period of 50.503 +- 0.001
seconds.
Brightest flashes were +4.5 or so.
So the period increase seems to be around 0.009 per day,
or maybe the increase is slowing down a little bit ?
To be followed !
May 1 : JPH: 50.45 +- 0.01 (Jason Hatton)
May 2 : KJ : 50.466 +- 0.0015
May 3 : KJ : 50.477 +- 0.0015
May 4 : KJ : 50.491 +- 0.006
May 4 : BJG: 50.487 (Bjoern Gimle)
May 6 : KJ : 50.503 +- 0.001
