Thanks. I didnt fully discribe the pass. It became visable at around AZ 140
El 60 and maintained 0 magnitude untill it passed near the Zenith. Roughly
AZ 90
El 80. At that time it went invisable. It really wasnt a flare up. It
maintained 0 mag for a fairly long time.
The sky was very dark, and stars of mag <5 were visable.
The Iridium and DMSP sats rarely go totally invisable... And there apparent
speed are much faster than the unknown I saw. More like Pageos if you
remember there slow movenemt.
I'll look for the latest Pageos fragment elements and try them.
But this object may be a true unknown. And thats OK. :-)
Part of the attraction of satellite spotting!
