Florida Today Space Online had an article May 10, 1999 entitled "The Curse
of Slick Six: Fact or Fiction?  No mission launched from site has ever been
successful" by Roger Guillemette.  It is about Space Launch Complex 6
(SLC-6, aka "Slick 6") at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, one of

I heard today ABC-TV (USA) promoting their national evening newscast for
Thursday,
May 27,1999 "ABC World News Tonight".  They are going to broadcast a feature
on "the billions lost on Slick 6".  I thought some might like to watch that.
