    Hi all,

I wonder if anybody can help. ?
On the evening of the 18/05/00 at approx.. 22:36 (GMT +1) I observed a flare
(mag 0) which I cannot identify. It was about azim.. 40° Elev. 60°
    travelling
in what appeared to be an orbit SE to NW across my FOV. From the TLE's
available to me it may be NOAA 9 (15427) or IRS-P2 (23323) both of which
were in approx. the right place at the right time.
Do either of these two satellites flare or can anybody suggest what else it
    may have seen?

    Thanks & Clear Skies
