This morning, while keeping an eye on Telstar 402R for flashing, I noticed a bright flash to the west and below where telstar 402R was. I had been recording, so I got actual proof this time. I did a check, and Intelsat 501 is in the correct spot. The time of thre bright flash is around 5:57:06 UTC ( May 8 ). It's around 5 Megs in size. Period is unknown at this time. A short time latter, I saw a flash from what appears to be gstar 3.
