The Genesys spacecraft was imaged by the 58cm Schimdt camera of the Catalina Sky Survey
may 10, 8h 40min - 11h 30min UT. Its brightness in the R band was magnitude 16. The range was
about 650,000 Km. It was moving quite slowly for a satellite only 3-4 degrees per day relative
to stars. It was reported to the Co-ordinating center ( Minor Planet Center) as an asteroid, but the validating
software picked it out as a known satellite.
