That is how I updated the elements of 03054A, B and C, which we have resumed tracking after a month-long gap: http://satobs.org/seesat/May-2004/0218.html The month-old elements were off only a few seconds, so they did not require much revision. I found that by holding the inclination constant, I was able to obtain realistic results on all of the other elements, spanning the roughly 40 day arc. Even the eccentricity behaved about as would be expected for these particular objects, by decreasing slightly.
