Assuming I do not have them confused, 11014B currently leads 11014A. As with the first four NOSS 3s, it appears that the trailer's RAAN will be offset ~+0.2 deg relative that of the leader. The 0.05 deg difference in their inclination, present since they reached orbit or shortly thereafter, has enabled their planes to separate by about 0.15, so far. Once they reach the planned separation, one or both will manoeuvre to match inclination. 1 37386U 11014A 11141.35087643 .00000000 00000-0 00000-0 0 01 2 37386 63.4569 260.6699 0125351 178.7845 181.3508 13.40424452 02 1 37391U 11014B 11141.35078753 .00000000 00000-0 00000-0 0 09 2 37391 63.4047 260.5150 0126413 180.5037 179.5880 13.40429165 02 I did not have good reference stars, so all of my obs last night are likely somewhat less accurate than usual (regardless of the stated accuracy). 28888 05 042A 2701 G 20110521015906520 17 25 2139699+513032 28 S 28888 05 042A 2701 G 20110521015928140 17 25 2223530+521970 38 S 37391 11 014B 2701 G 20110521083541500 17 25 1657199-141578 87 S 37386 11 014A 2701 G 20110521083548080 17 25 1658270-142312 38 S 37386 11 014A 2701 G 20110521083617480 17 25 1704629-110582 27 S 37386 11 014A 2701 G 20110521083719830 17 25 1720129-023941 67 S IOD format: http://www.satobs.org/position/IODformat.html Site 2701: 43.68764 N, 79.39243 W, 230 m Instrument: 25 X 100 binoculars Ted Molczan _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-l
