The video of the space-craft separation suggested that the satellites
were stacked in two columns of 30 directly to the upper stage. I would
guess that, as usual, SpaceX de-orbited the upper stage, but that's
something I need to check. It may be that the extra 4 pieces are parts
that kept the two columns rigid during launch. We'll known soon enough
as those pieces will stay in the 440km orbit.

To spread the 60 satellites over the orbital plane I would expect that
there will be a staggered raising of orbits, which appears to be what
is happening already; the trailers are those that started raising
their orbit first.
