Hello Cees, Yes, those might very well have been what I saw. I wonder why heavens-above does not show them? Also, since there were only two satellites, I suppose they were launched quite some time ago... But these were much brighter than other starlink satellites usually are, except in the very first days after launch... Since I'm new at this and I don't know the "tools"... Could you explain to me the steps you did to create that simulation with celestrak? Thanks again, Cristian A quick check of the public catalog showed that one of the Starlink > orbital planes was in that region. Downloading the latest supplemental > Starlink TLEs from www.celestrak.com shows that STARLINK-2201 > [47415/21006C] and STARLINK-1526 [46029/20055C] were moving North near > the Big Dippers tail. > > Here's a plot of their track over the course of a minute: > https://imgur.com/a/nkayQxW > > How does that compare to what you saw? > > Regards, > Cees > _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-lReceived on Thu May 20 2021 - 19:03:08 UTC
