For those of you who might want to receive information on the progress of 
RadarSat (and alot more info) see:

Both have the same info in English or French.  The Canadian Space Agency has 
provided a very well written and informative web site IMHO.  Their write-up 
answered one of my questions as to why they chose a sun-synchronous orbit for
