For what's worth, I'll second Jim Varney's middle of the road approach to
the use of attaching an elset to a posting regarding a new or
questionable satellite. I don't see where the attachment is necessary once
USSPACECOM links the name to the catalog number/id to whatever the
originator uses as his source of information (OIG, Kelso, Molczan, etc.). I
also like the use of the "?" before the assumed name. Brackets would not be
necessary.
OK, I'll bite the hook. What is a "vulgar" name? Is that something Mr.
Nissen is thinking about ;-) or terminolgy used by seasoned visual satellite
observers that I haven't run across yet.
