Excellent STS-74/Mir Pass

Just (6:06 am EST) saw a terrific pass of Mir and shuttle from here in
Florida.  Spacecraft were about 10 mi apart (according to NASA select) and
appeared moving in formation about a finger width's apart.  I've never seen
the two before so close together,and it was very impressive.  You get a
real sense of oritentation and distance of the orbital path to your
observing site as you watch perspective changing on the pair of tracks.
Nice way to wake up on a Saturday.
