I found an interesting story in Jean-Philippe Domino's "The Satellite
Encyclopedia" regarding this capsule. Jean-Philippe posted to seesat-l
about a month ago regarding his TSE. I certainly hope it falls into my
backyard! Apparently the Chinese have a medallion of Mao, encrusted with 44
diamonds in that capsule. It was to be returned for later auction. The
deorbit motor fired on the time but fired in the wrong direction resulting
in an initial orbit of 187km X 3016km from its monitoring orbit of 196km x
256km. Some other common names assigned to it are Dong Fang Hong 37 and FSW
1. Thanks to Domino's TSE for the supplemental info.
