MIR orbit....

Does anyone there track MIR? What a dumb question... :) well I have a
question... In the last couple days I have been retrieving TLE's from the
OIG database, namely MIR... and well, just yesterday, I noticed something
particularly weird... Monday MIR was just completing appox. orbit
55345.XX somthing or other... and now I use the TLE's from OIG and they
are giving me an orbit number of something like 43239.XX, I have made no
changes in the program (stsplus) so I guarantee that is not the
problem... Was there an error in the TLE's for a month and they just now
caught it? Or did the Russians throw the Space Station in to reverse? :)
If anyone can help, it will be great.. TIA
