Thanks to everyone for answering my request for information.

Incidentally, the Leonids were a spectacular event to watch
from my home in Japan this week.  Previously, I read that there
was much concern about damage to satellites because of their
occurance.  Does anyone know if there were any major incidents
of run-ins between meteors and satellites this week?
