I forwarded on the Mir conversation URL to a Russian friend.  Here's the
response I received...

"Thanks for the Mir conversation. I listened to it. It is really neat! A
Mir
guy is talking to the engineer on the ground. They are discussing a new
software. The guy is giving the engineer a hard time for mistakes in the
software. The recording is amazingly clear. It is really interesting."

Wish *I* spoke Russian!
