(Iridium, Iridium)**2?

There was enough haze in the "clear" sky tonight that flares and flashes were
just about all that were visible.

The predictions:
Wed 98-11-25 18:04:03 038 55 580 A L 255 -14 -8 L 1.0 mi E 38
Wed 98-11-25 18:16:13 179 81 494 A L 257 -16 -3 1 0.4 mi W 20
Wed 98-11-25 18:16:39 006 85 491 A L 257 -16 -3 2 1.0 mi E 20

Double Flare:
Iridium 38 made an almost identical pass as last evening's Iridium 17 pass
which gave a double flare for 2 of 3 observers in the Maryland area.
Tonight's flare was a nice -8 at the predicted 23:04:03 UTC. Although it
quickly dimmed in the haze my I kept watch on that area of the sky and, sure
enough, it flared to a -3 mag at 23:04:52 UTC.

Double Flash:
Iridium 20 has been making visible passes at my location all week. This
evening the 1x flashes were very close to the predicted times (23:16:13 adn
23:16:39 UTC) - *maybe* a few seconds late on the second one.

Cheers
