I tracked it to look for additional variations in magnitude for 50 secs, no additional variations noted. Observing 5 min. before and after first and last for the fifth "debris" object and am still unable to acquire. For the "other" bird watchers and strange phenomenom viewers out there, I did acquire a flock, (I'm guessing Geese, as their light under bellies would account for the reflection of light at night), headed for the tropics. Initially a V formation was apparent but it deteriorated to appear more like a shimmering serpent slithering across the sky. The formation spanned approx. 4 degrees along the direction of travel, (which was from N to S in the West at approx. 25 elev.) Shimmering from approx. 6.5 to 7.5; Tracked from below Lyra to the cluster around 4 & 5 vulpecula from 01:30:00 to 01:31:00, sun angle at -32. An interesting sight. I could see it spurring UFO reports if at closer range and brighter magnitude. I initially thought it might be a bolide track due to the wispy cloud-like appearance at times.
