ISS was easily visible here in NYC in the south at 17:43:07. I made the effort to wait and see Expedition 1, but at 11 degrees up and mag 5.7, didnt expect much! And I didnt get much. ONLY a last minute spot!...I distingushed it from airplanes since it was not blinking, and moving steadily towards the horizon. Quite dim indeed. (How dim was it?!). Dim enough so that when looking directly at it (through binocs at 7x), it disappeared. Interesing all in all; my first Soyuz sighting. -Ben 40.5770N, 73.9480W ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www2.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
