Hi all. I am new to this list. We are performing visual satellite
tracking for the purposes of simulating a ground station for a
communications experiment. I would invite you to review our results
at: http://www.d3experiment.homepage.com/. There is a video archive with
some MPEGs showing the tracking recorded with a CCD. Our best image is one
where ISS passes by the moon (moon moving, ISS stationary). See
    http://www.d3experiment.homepage.com/TrackingGallery/STS_1_moon.mpg.
We have achieved smooth dynamic tracking with the LX-200 telescope
commanded by Brent Bosharts LXSAT software. As pontificated in the above
URL, we cannot be more impressed with Brent's software. There is a
detailed PDF file describing our technique
    http://www.d3experiment.homepage.com/UplinkSimulation/D3UplinkSimulation.pdf.

As always, I am looking for feedback.

    regards

    Dean Schrage
