Just one reply:
I regularly marry int96tles+inttles+classfd+catalog... into "alldat.tle"
Actually I use my editor, UltraEdit, to paste the contents together,
but you could just as well use a .bat file :
copy inttles.tle+int96tles.tle+classfd.tle allclass.tle

ObsReduce will happily accept the FIRST matching elset.
