    Good evening everyone,

My son and I were very lucky to see two flahes from the maneuvering shuttle
just after external tank jettison this evening. The observation was made at
around 20:05 EST (01:05 UTC) from the cab of the truck I was using to move
my furniture. I was on the highway and took an exit a few minutes before
launch. We found a small street in an industrial park that was dark with an
unobstructed horizon. I parked the truck and we waiting for the shuttle. The
observation lasted a total of about 5 seconds but was very nice and easy to
    see. Site was at 45°50'55" N and 72°35'04" W.

    Shuttle catalog number is 33441.
