After an earthquake last night and clouds all day, it looked bad for trying my new 20 x 80 binoculars on a tripod tonight. I will need practice to get used to this setup, but at least I finally got them - UPS had lost them for three days, and surgery is only 5 days away. Also tracked 2 others (unclassified); not sure about one handed operation but perhaps will lead to faster return to observing.
