Continuing observations from Nov 11 (from Oklahoma City), 13 (from Houston) and 19 (tonite) show Phobos-Grunt to be slowly varying in brightness and not exhibiting any obvious tumbling scenario. On Nov 19 at 11:20UT I was able to track the payload for more than 120 seconds under perfect conditions and there was no change in the lack of tumbling signature. The rocket body was followed for only 65 seconds but its slow variation revealed approximately 25 seconds between maxima. Paul Paul D.
