Today a gps satellite launched way back in Oct 1993, will be taken out of service, ie set unhealthy Then it will undergo eventually orbit raising, and powered off.

Satellite shows up as a " 4 " on receiver display.

Catalog number = 22877

It was a " 2A " series.

This month 25 years ago, the first 2A series was place into orbit, one first one still being used all these years later, ie the one that shows up as a
" 32 ", catalog number 20959.
