Hi Alan

You observed Canyon 6

For stuff in high orbits, and not see in awhile, use the intergrated orbit's.

 Hi,

On 08 NOV 2015, I photographed a flashing UNID that turned
out to be quasi geostationary Canyon 6 , 1975-055-A,
The flashing period was 65-70 seconds.

This identification is only tentative because the satellite
was 12 minutes ahead of Calsky ephemeris, that was a quite
old one "Age Elements: 198.7 days (Orbit from amateur
 sources)".

 Alain
