Hi Jim,

Interestingly, I happened to observe it recently to from more northern
latitudes (44°.57 and 48°.67)

On 25 AUG 2016 (latitude 44°.57), I imaged in the same night  Vanguard 2
Rocket as well as Vanguard 1 Rocket.
