Last night using Randy John's Iridium flare prediction program,
Skysat (version 0.3), I noticed a prediction for a mirror angle
of 1.6 degrees (not great but good) this morning, so I decided
to look for it -- and saw a pretty good flare as expected. I
don't have time to file an official report right now, but it
was Iridium 8 (92-20A, 24792) beginning about 11:33:37 UTC (I
had a digital timepiece with me this time!), Oct. 3. One-power
visibility lasted more than 30 seconds, and magnitude possibly
reached -2. (There was some thin fog at the time.) This
observation was from outside my apartment.
